Flyash Australia Pty Ltd has a long and proud history of operating within the
Australian Fly ash Industry. Shown below is a brief timeline depicting the growth of the company since its inception in 1984:
A Joint Venture was formed between Boral and Monier (Rocla) to collect fly ash from Eraring Power Station (central coast of NSW). This was the beginning of Flyash Australia (FAA).
FAA entered into a contract to purchase fly ash from Northern Power Station (Pt Augusta – Sth Australia).
FAA entered into a contract to remove fly ash from Delta Electricity’s Mt Piper site (located near Lithgow in NSW).
Rocla sold their 50% share of FAA to Australian Cement Holdings (ACH). ACH eventually merged with Queensland Cement & Lime (QCL) in 2003 to form Cement Australia Pty Ltd.
FAA agreed to purchase Collie and Muja fly ash from Boral Resources WA.
FAA began purchasing fine grade Bayswater fly ash and on selling it to its customers.
FAA purchased EFA Technologies (Solidflow plant at Bayswater). This was a highly strategic purchase for FAA providing it with the ability to manufacture, market and distribute ultrafine fly ash products.
A deed of transfer was enacted, assigning Boral WA’s interests in Collie and Muja fly ashes to FAA.
FAA commenced manufacturing a Bayswater fine grade fly ash using its Solidflow depot.
FAA established a Perth Distribution Hub to enhance its ability to supply its WA customers with Collie fly ash.
